Swedish Massage

This is the most common form of massage, developed by Per Henrik Ling, a Swedish medical-gymnastic practitioner with wide ranging interests in the human body and the soul.
There are five strokes of Swedish massage:
– Effleurage
– Petrissage
– Friction
– Tapotement
– Vibration
This massage is combined with active and passive movement of the muscles and joint.
